Zeds Dead announce ‘Somewhere Else’ Remixes, leading release with their own VIP

Canadian genre-crossers Zeds Dead released their Somewhere Else EP nearly a year ago via Mad Decent. The release found the production duo trying out multiple different styles across seven tracks, and now the label is gearing up to deliver a handful of remixes to accompany the original EP. Leading the follow up, DC and Hooks step in to deliver their own reimagining of their collaboration with Memorecks, aptly renaming the tune to “Collapse 2.0.”

The original track is an emotive bass ballad, so this go-around Zeds Dead opt for a more upbeat electro-house rendition, pushing “Collapse 2.0” more towards the dance floor with this VIP mix of the original EP’s leading track. The new Somewhere Else Remixes collection will be available May 12th on Mad Decent, and will feature remix efforts by Valentino Khan, Nebbra, Sleepy Tom, and Hunter Siegel.

Who’s Zed? Zeds Dead baby…Zeds Dead.
