On the surface, Gorgon City, Clean Bandit, and Rudimental do not seem to have much in common besides all achieving incredible success in dance music, but the three powerhouse acts surprisingly came from the same seed – Black Butter Records. The UK label began humbly in 2010 only to remarkably evolve into a creative authority breeding some of dance music’s brightest talents.

To contribute to the pre-festival season hype, Black Butter Records joined forces with MATTE and Coachella-endorsed DUBS Earplugs to throw a soireé at NYC’s Bowery Bank Building. The musical harbingers released a recap video today to give the world a black and white sense into the party Black Butter can bring to the table. Jessie Andrews, My Nu Leng, Wayward, Vashtie Kola, KITTENS, and Kidnap Kid led the mayhemic summer season pre-party and fans were even treated to a special guest appearance by tastemaking mogul, THE GASLAMP KILLER.
