Carnage teams up with Timmy Trumpet and KSHMR for summer festival anthem, “Toca”
Papi Gordo, Chipotle Gang leader, and/or Carnage are all acceptable names that the titan of festival-only productions goes by. The Panamanian dance mogul began his 2015 by turning his attention to more hip-hop/trap-centric projects with ILoveMakonnen on “I Like Tuh” as well as Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Ferg and Rich The Kid on “WDYW.” However, just as he is about to embark on his summer festival itinerary, Papi Gordo returns to his Main Stage mindset and comes together with electro virtuoso, KSHMR, and brass-bouncing Australian, Timmy Trumpet, for the chaos-inducing “Toca.”
In the music video for “Toca,” film producer Voder follows Carnage and Timmy Trumpet across two weeks of touring the Australian mainland. It’s inevitable that when you put three of the big room’s finest heads together, you’re only asking for pandemonium to arise. “Toca” commences with a trickling brass melody atop a springy drum loop that then swiftly unravels into a mammoth drop of heart-stomping kicks and howling bass roars only fit for the grandest of venues. So for those of you heading to any festivals in the coming months, be prepared to hear this animal in every big room set to come.
