DA Premiere: SNAILS announces biggest tour yet, releases ‘VMPR’ as a free download

Over the past year or so, vomitstep pathfinder, SNAILS, has carved a niche for himself in the bass-head market with his regurgitating take on dance music’s hard-hitting genres that has attracted a loyal following who can’t seem get enough of it. Well, the Montreal producer is back yet again with a new succubus original deemed “VMPR.” Already teased in the second volume of his SNAILEDIT! mix back in March, “VMPR” swaps out the SNAILS’ usual dubstep backbone for an electro house framework to let his growling topline blitz forward with no regard for anyone in its path. For those Smashing Pumpkin fans out there, SNAILS also slyly inserts an ode to alt-band’s hit track “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” just before the drop with the opening line, “The world is a vampire” – a subtle yet creative touch by the OWSLA-endorsed dance innovator.

SNAILS is about to embark on his biggest tour ever, Snailin USA Tour Par 2, with 18 stops throughout the summer.
