Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo revives Le Knight Club for new single

Many recent Daft Punk fans may not be familiar with the French House side project of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Started over a decade ago with Eric Chedeville, Le Knight Club lead the early French House wave, sampling disco and funk for their past hits “The Palm” and “Coco Girlz.” Ten years later the duo have reunited to provide the soundtrack to the action film Gates of the Sun. One track from the film, “The Fight,” has been uploaded to Chedeville’s Soundcloud page. It’s a modernized version of their old style French House style — cinematic and looming with a shifty hip-hop beat.
