Kove feat. Moko – Hurts (Original Mix)
We’ve seen a lot of different sides to British talent Kove over the past 12 months, but all signs point to James Rockhill remaining one of London’s most versatile players right now. In another seamless transition from MTA Records and their ongoing hold over the UK middle-ground right now, “Hurts” pairs Kove’s early drum & bass stylings with the soulful vocal work of Moko, who famously blessed Chase & Status’s “Count On Me” back in 2014. It’s a little more ‘by-the-book’ than fans of “Way We Are” and “Drop” are likely to be longing for, but having first claimed his stake in the race with a run of seamless drum & bass offerings, “Hurts” is an inoffensive push towards its commercial spectrum sure to garner some serious love this summer.
