Renowned for his monthly “Magic Tape” series and tranquilizing remixes, The Magician has proudly unveiled the third release on his imprint, Potion. His first original production of 2015, “Together” marks a particularly exciting time for Stephen Fasano. His upward trajectory since the release of “Sunlight” nearly one year ago has landed the Belgian producer a slew of enviable time slots at major festivals like Ultra, EDC NY, Life Festival and Hideout, to name a few.
While his original productions may be rare, when they do arrive every so often it is difficult not to shower them in praise. A fine consolidation of whimsical melody, a soulful topline and The Magician’s signature bass, “Together” acts as another mirthful production within his expanding repertoire. In flirting with the lines of future and deep house, Fasano’s catchy club warmer will inevitably become one of the songs of 2015.
