Marvin Gaye’s classic “Ain’t That Peculiar” receives a pitched down and throbbing rendition from Beshken. The Future Collective member follows up his original “Hiro” by transforming the R&B legend’s original into a slow-brewed, future trap twist up. The reworked vocals leave very little of 1966 hit identifiable, modernizing the melancholic droll of “Ain’t That Peculiar” into a head swaying collection of eccentric percussion and buzzing synths.
