Medasin – Gold (Original Mix)

You may have never heard of Medasin, but this future bass/trap hybrid artist demands attention for his beautiful productions. Associated with the Film Noir collective alongside other similarly minded artists including the likes of Oshi and BNJMN, Medasin has already found support for his music within the community formed by his fellow producers. But he is deserving of more than just that.

While this may not be the turn-up anthem you were hoping to hear with the future bass/trap classification, “Gold” shows that Medasin can operate at an incredibly high level as an artist. Maintaining the track’s composed and formulated atmosphere for its entire length, Medasin weaves hard-hitting bass hits through a smooth and euphoric spaced-out backdrop. The entire project feels luxurious from start to end, sporting stadium-status horns and an awe-inspiring mid section to boot.
