Apple streaming service seeks celebrity claim over Drake, Pharrell, and David Guetta

Following the announcement of Apple’s forthcoming move into the streaming service, rumors of who the tech giant hopes to bring into the launch have begun to swirl. With several big name artists already claimed by direct competitor Tidal, allegedly Apple now looks to link up with Drake and Pharrell Williams on the hip-hop and top 40 front while targeting David Guetta as an electronic representative.

Further hearsay about Apple’s coming launch hint that the platform hopes to aggressively challenge current streaming champions like Spotify and Pandora by offering an all-inclusive music and video streaming, a social media aspect, as well as a reboot of iTunes Radio with guest DJs like Drake.
