Chus & Ceballos are no strangers to mysticism on the dance floor. Champions of the Iberican sound, they’ve made a career out of blending traditional and tribal elements into their songs and performances.

Today, the duo have unveiled the first single from their debut album with “Abisinia:” a spiritually-charged tech house number featuring Italian producer Leonardo Gonnelli and Ethiopian vocalist GiGi. The track is accompanied by an official music video — just as compelling as the effortless flow of their percussive arrangement.

“We are beyond excited and can’t wait for the release of the first single off of our upcoming album, ‘Nomadas’! ‘Abisinia’ is the title of our second studio collaboration with our dear friend, the Italian producer, Leonardo Gonnelli. This video perfectly represents the ancestral essence and roots of dance, and where current dance music takes its inspiration from. Recorded in Ibiza, the video takes you back to a primitive time where the nomadic culture roamed the lands of the ancient world in the eternal search for happiness through the soul and spirit of wise elders.

The single will be released on Monday via their own label Stereo Productions, and will feature a remix from Spanish talent UNER. The full album, titled Nómadas, is due for release in September.
