Toronto’s Digital Dreams Music Festival cancels first day

Due to inclement weather, the first day of Toronto’s Digital Dreams Music Festival has been cancelled. With Carl Cox, Steve Angello, Armin van Buuren, and John Digweed slated to perform, it’s safe to say the entirety of Canada’s electronic music scene was waiting with baited breath for the arrival of the event. While only light rain has came down in Toronto during the day, the chance of flooding was imminent. Situated on Lake Ontario, sandwiched between bodies of water, festival’s organizers are not taking any risks. Unfortunately, the weather forecast calls for rain all weekend, meaning the feasibility of second day of Digital Dreams Music Festival is also uncertain.
