Dillon Francis delivers on his moombahton promise with ‘Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin)’
Delivering on a promise that we first caught wind of in April about a in-the-works moombahton EP, Dillon Francis has gone ahead to unleash the first enticing preview of his seven-track work. Never one to beat around the bush, his forthcoming EP tells it like it is; titled This Mixtape is Fire, as promised, the first released single is moombahton to the core. “Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Love)” comes flying out of the gate with an artillery of piercing breakdowns.
But perhaps the most anticipated of what’s to come from Francis’s return to his roots is his promise to deliver a “different, forward moving” moombahton sound. Tapping into friends and fellow talents, his EP track list hints at collaborations with Skrillex, Chromeo, Bro Safari as well as a track he first previewed earlier this summer called “What’s Your Name” with Calvin Harris.
