EDMbiz announces first phase of speakers and panelists for 2015

Insomniac’s flagship conference & expo, EDMbiz, has released its first phase of speaker and panel announcements ahead of the three-day event on June 16-18 at The Cosmopolitan. Now it its fourth year, the conference welcomes keynote speakers James Barton — President of Electronic Music at Live Nation — and Tony Hsieh — CEO of Zappos.com and Founder of Downtown Project. Joining the two industry giants is a staggering list of EDM’s most influential power players who will be leading in-depth discussions on the scene’s past, present, and future status.

Having already announced its inaugural Startup and A&R contests, EDMbiz 2015 will host a number of other special keynote sessions and panels including a discussion on the Future of Dance Music Journalism and the Fourth Annual EDMbiz Artist Panel featuring Krewella, 3LAU, and Hook n Sling.  EDMbiz attendees will also gain access to EDC Week parties at Omnia, Hakkasan, Wet Republic, and more.

Each year, Insomniac sets the bar one step higher than the past and continually brings aboard the executives and figures behind dance music’s seemingly endless expansion. The full list of keynote sessions, panels, and speaker list can be viewed below.
