The Hood Internet – Some Poppas (The Notorious B.I.G. x Flume)

The Hood Internet’s latest mashup titled “Some Poppas,” pairs rap legend Notorious B.I.G. with Australian electronic frontrunner Flume. Although the original version of Biggie’s “Big Poppa” is one of those tracks that’s hard to top, the rapper’s verses actually sound quite nice when placed over the post-drop part of Flume’s latest track, “Some Minds.” The mash-up really does contain the best of both worlds: a well-known rap classic and a cutting-edge, future bass soundscape from one of the genre’s foremost pioneers.
