Robotaki’s slow-brewed soundscapes are the perfect soundtrack for anyone’s post EDC depression. The Canadian talent’s latest remix effort sees him taking a scalpel to Mattanoll’s “Clearness” slicing and dicing the sun-kissed original into a shimmering array of percussive drips and buzzing white noise. There’s little of the indie dance flair left in Robotaki’s rendition, but for what his remix lacks in sugary-sweet swing, he more than makes up for with deft sound design and unique vocal processing.
