It’s always nice to see a female DJ succeed in the electronic music industry, and Eau Claire’s latest disco tropical remix of Saint Motel’s “My Type” is definitely an attestation to her producing abilities. Her remix takes the vocals and saxophone accents of the original and transforms it into a slow, casual house song for all to enjoy. Eau Claire enhances the already island-esque qualities of the original as well by adding steel drum samples and a breakdown with beautiful chimes in the background.
