It’s always a treat when rave videos from the nineties and early 2000’s are brought to light. For those of us who joined the rave scene well after its beginning, videos like this give us a glimpse into the history of our scene and demonstrate the energy and joy that it was founded upon.
The hour-long video in this post takes place almost 21 years ago in 1994 London during a new year’s eve celebration by Strictly Underground Records. This film not only shows the craziness that was the UK scene in this influential time, but it also interviews famous DJs playing the event as well as several of the 10,000 in attendance.
