With You. – Speak (2 Bad Mice Remix)

Collectives are the new flavor of the week in electronic music. Groups of producers, DJs, tastemakers, and other talents are banning together into communities that look to push one another’s music in a mutually beneficial setting. The latest collective to spawn is a quintet name With You. now emerged to be comprised of producers/tastemakers Noah Schy, Rick Trainor, Jeff Penalva, Daouda Leonard, and Dave Taylor — the artist formerly known as Switch of Major Lazer fame.

Premiering the first taste of their debut EP via Annie Mac, With You. lets 2 Bad Mice’s remix of “Speak” be the cardinal piece to set the tone for their following three originals. Jacking up the pace of the Caribbean-tinged original, 2 Bad Mice keep Elan Atias’ vocals at the forefront along with the authentic reggae guitar riff whilst laying down a furious drum and bass ensemble to shroud a haunting aura around.

The four-track EP will be available on June 29th via Hypercolour.
