Audien teams with country group Lady Antebellum for ‘Something Better’
23-year old Audien joins the trend of fusing dance and country music with “Something Better,” a collaboration with superstar country collective Lady Antebellum. For both Audien and Lady A, the project was a chance to defy the expectations of their respective genres and create something inspiring for their listeners on both ends of the spectrum.
“With ‘Something Better’ I wanted to push boundaries,” explains Audien. “The song lends itself perfectly to call and response vocals and anthemic harmonies. Lady Antebellum aren’t just some of the best voices in country music, but in overall music. It was a shot in the dark, but fortunately they felt as passionately about the song’s uplifting theme as I did.
