Lollapalooza expands to Colombia in 2016
As Lollapalooza nears its annual flagship weekend in Chicago, the festival has taken advantage of its “all-eyes-on-us” moment to announce yet another international expansion. The most recently announced edition found footing in Berlin – marking the inaugural Europe launch for Lolla – but now, the festival is heading back to South America for Colombia. Already, Lollapalooza holds shows in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile, and apparently the response in South America has been so positive that the next expansion will land in Bogota, Colombia in the fall of 2016.
