Naxsy – Get On The Floor

From tropical house to nu-disco, Parisian DJ/producer Naxsy is a connoisseur of all sun-soaked genres. With remix treatments ranging from Disclosure to 50 Cent to Jasmine Thompson, Naxsy does not look for the easy route when choosing a remix subject. He saw his first break when he won a feature on Avicii’s crowd-sourced productions “X You,” but now the French producer transforms his newly evolved, nu-disco sound into an original product, “Get On The Floor.” Lead by one lyrical line that croons the song’s title, Naxsy runs a funk-rolling bass guitar along the bottom of the track while another guitar swoops in, shredding a nimble chorus dashed with interspersed vocal cuts throughout.
