Zeds Dead return to Diplo and Friends with an energetically diverse mix
Zeds Dead are no strangers to the taste-making Diplo and Friends mix series. Last summer they provided a well-received mix for the segment, and this weekend they came back for another installation. Promoting their most recent EP, Somewhere Else, Zeds Dead offer a set as diverse as their recent production. Vacillating between future house, trap, electro house, and their signature razor-sharp dubstep, the mix showcases the full extent of their varied inspirations – and never skimps on the energy. Opening up the mix with their recent Loudpvck collaboration “Flies,” and closing it out the mix with an unreleased original dubstep/trap hybrid, it’s no surprise that Diplo calls the Canadian duo “the ones to watch in 2015.”
