DA Premiere: ZZ Ward – LOVE3X (AObeats Remix)
As ZZ Ward gears up for the release of her sophomore album, This Means War, her first single “LOVE3X” has received an extensive remix package featuring the likes of RAC, R3HAB, Robert Delong and more. Among these names, AObeats –a rising producer from the East Coast and member of the Moving Castle family — has been chosen to provide his take on the original. The remix succeeds by chopping and transposing vocal snippets from ZZ Ward and layering them over a buoyant summer beat. Like any good remix, it stays true to the idea of the original while presenting the song in a new context.
