Spinnin has made a habit of rejuvenating classic dance tracks and their latest release is no different. Label stalwarts Lucas & Steve take on Laurent Wolf’s 2004 hit “Calinda” for a 2015 spin that taps into the modern house sound. More synthetic than the shifty guitar licks of Wolf’s original dancefloor igniting pressing, Lucas & Steve bolster “Calinda 2k15” with a bold production techniques, punchy piano chords and a roomy bass line built for sound systems much larger than those found when the original caught fire in 2004.
