Gorgon City – Saving My Life (Original Mix)
UK garage duo Gorgon City premiered “Saving My Life,” a new single off of their upcoming sophomore studio album, as Zane Lowe’s daily World Record on his Beats 1 show. Featuring vocals from English singer-songwriter Romans, the house-influenced track is set to be a massive dance-floor crowder. In true Gorgon City fashion, the soulful topline is bolstered by a groovy piano-driven melody and deep, danceable bass line. Romans is a fairly new artist who has already earned an impressive pedigree, collaborating and songwriting for Clean Bandit, Mary J. Blige, and Rihanna. His strong voice and passionate lyrics lend themselves perfectly to the track. The post-premiere interview with Zane Lowe suggests that Gorgon City has many more collaborations with new (including not yet artist-named) talent when their album finally drops.
