Jauz drops his full collab with Skrillex at Summerset

Since first speaking of his power collaboration with Skrillex back in February with THUMP, Jauz has been testing out drafts of the mayhem-inducing cut as it has continued to shape up into its final form. Rumored to be titled “Drunk Squad,” the Fatman Scoop-commanded song was the final selection of Jauz’s at Ultra debut in March and it reappeared at the very beginning of his unforgettable HARD Summer set earlier this month. The bass-head community has been patiently awaiting a date for the track’s release, and it seems that time will be soon as Jauz announced during his Summerset performance this weekend that he and Sonny had finally completed the track’s final form.

The first two-thirds of the track are fairly recognizable for those that have kept a close eye on Jauz, with a few tweaks and slight change in the second drop. However, when we near the end of the track and into the third drop, we hear a bass-saturated, ground-shaking trap breakdown with the fracas lead rhythm still atop that is new for even the Shark Squad’s most devout followers. Details still have yet to surface for when “Drunk Squad” will see the light of day, but based off this most recent video, this joint effort by the OWSLA-head and bass house prodigy will be one of epic proportions. Stay tuned for more details coming.
