Pasquale Rotella announces Bay Area Dreamstate to take place in 2016
On July 22, the trance proved that their beloved music is alive and well by selling out the first edition of Dreamstate in a matter of hours. Boasting a lineup comparable to that of Luminosity, the “mecca” of all trance festivals, fans all over the nation flooded to the event’s page in hopes of making history at America’s first festival catering to the serious side of the genre.
As tickets sold out so quickly, many disheartened fans felt left behind. However, Insomniac head Pasquale Rotella, who incepted the event, had a surprise for everyone. Taking to his Twitter, the “experience creator” told trance heads to be on the lookout for another announcement.
After much anticipation and rumors flying around, Rotella has finally unveiled what everyone has been waiting for:
The announcement leaves much information to be desired, such as the dates, venue size, and whether or not the lineup is going to be as brilliant as the Southern California edition. Based off what we already know about the aforementioned version, San Francisco is in for a beautiful weekend of pure trance sometime within the first few months of 2016.
