PAWSA drops Flux EP on Nicole Moudaber’s label MOOD

Nicole Moudaber is a name synonymous with dark and vibey techno; the success of her imprint MOOD and radio show In The MOOD has proven that world demand for deep emotive techno has never been higher. Here, Moudaber proves once again to have an ear to the underground and a knack for A&R by unearthing this powerful three-track EP Flux from London up-and-comer PAWSA.

With releases under his belt on LOST and Green Velvet’s legendary Cajual Records, PAWSA is definitely an artist on the rise — the three tracks on this releases proving exactly why. The EP opener “168” sets a spooky and brooding vibe before we’re treated to a techy tribal number in the form of the thumping “Orion’s Eyes.” With hallowing synths and thumping bass, the track works up a groove and relents intermittently with a vocal sample urging the listener to “breathe.” “Reflections” closes out the release with crackling drums and deep synth swells, showing a versatility to the producer’s approach.

Release Date: August 10
