Worthy drops Money Makin EP on Sleazy G’s Ghetto Series
Dirtybird OG and Anabatic boss Worthy is at it again unleashing infectious ghetto-tinged bass productions, this time delivering a techy two-track EP for Sleazy G’s Ghetto Series. Worthy has been a big of fan of the imprint for some time, and true to the ethos of the label, sent over two demos of pure heat that comprise the release: “Money Makin” and “The Height”.
The EP’s title track “Money Makin” is a booty-bouncing banger with a ton of attitude, featuring a prominent vocal talking about, you guessed it, money. “Money makin’s my thang, droppin’ rep after rep,” repeats the vocal as groovy sub-bass wobbles and snappy drum-work yield peak-time effect. On the flip, “The Height” follows a similar approach with club vocals, but offers a moodier twist with thick synth lines providing the bounce. Another notch in the belt for Worthy and a great contribution to the series.
