Blood Rave to be held at New York’s Comic Con

Just over a month ago, the Facebook page for a blood rave in Amsterdam saw thousands of plasma-loving techno heads RSVP to the secret event this Halloween. Inspiration must have struck stateside because now the same concept, inspired by the opening vampire rave scene in the film Blade, is coming to New York City’s Comic Con this October. The blood-drenched affair will include a chill-out room inspired by the apartment of Wesley Snipes’ supervillain archenemy, Deacon Frost, as well as performances from The Crystal Method and Pictureplane.

The blood rave will take place at Terminal 5 in New York City on October 9. Check out the Blade scene for reference.
