Where their Cheap Touch EP spotlighted three original takes from the heavy footed indie dance advocates and their budding musical repertoire, the duo returns promptly with official remix duties for national pop export turned consistent dance collaborator Little Boots‘ latest single.
Building subtly around Victoria Hesketh’s vocal work, WITHOUT’s take on ‘Better In The Morning’ dons rugged and nostalgically charged electro hallmarks with an insatiably funky backbone. It’s a hybrid that speaks for an exciting push past the generic disco samples and more docile indie dance fusions currently doing the rounds, adding to mounting speculation that WITHOUT may well be one of Dim Mak’s strongest contenders of 2015.
