Mansion nightclub in Miami is shutting its doors for good

After a decade of hosting dance music’s biggest acts like Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Afrojack, Justice and David Guetta, Mansion nightclub in Miami will close its doors for good after Labor Day weekend. According to the venue’s Facebook page, the Icon Hospitality-owned mega-club is throwing a “Mansion Closing Weekend” with Nicky Romero set to perform as the venue’s final DJ act on Friday, September 4.

Although once a haven for South Beach’s elite partygoers, Mansion has been plagued with controversy over the years – most recently being a court order to pay $5 million to a patron who was attacked by Cameo security on New Year’s Eve. And who can forget Deadmau5’s infamous rant of the nightclub’s bottle service crowd prompting them to invite him back to play a free show at a table-less venue.

Miami superclubs LIV, Story, and Space continue to lead the charge for The Magic City’s nightlife culture, consistently placing amongst the highest-grossing clubs in the country.
