The Chainsmokers have come a long way since “Selfie” placed them among the elite of EDM. Their recent track “Roses” featuring Rozes’ vocals showcased the duo’s experimental side, proving their artistry expanded beyond the simplistic nature of what brought them national attention.

“Roses” has recently been volunteered to receive remixing treatment from several of The Chainsmokers’ peers. A particularly outstanding version of the original comes from The Him, whose recent collaboration “Drive You Home” with Sam Feldt received numerous accolades. The Dutch maestros twisted the downtempo original into a dance floor-appropriate deep house mix. Rozes’ warm vocals sound equally brilliant among classic house keyboard riffs and funky synth melodies as it does in The Chainsmokers’ ODESZA-esque version; it’s hard to resist the positive vibes.  The Him’s catchy remix is available for free on their Soundcloud as part of a remix package for “Roses.” Other artists presenting their interpretations include King Arthur who adds an upbeat disco flair, Loosid’s smooth chillout rendition, a future house re-work by AYO ALEX, and raunchy trap by Say My Name to complete the roster.
