wAFF – Syncronistic (Original Mix)
The good folks at Drumcode must have been working overtime throughout 2015, because the year has seen them own the modern techno landscape like few other imprints of the time. Picking up where Luigi Madonna’s Magic Land EP left off, UK stalwart wAFF makes his long anticipated debut for the label this month, bringing three fresh cuts from his dark and distinct club artillery.
As the sign-off of the Vibrationz EP, ‘Syncronistic’ is a fatal finale to one of the Leeds-based producer’s most distinct bodies of work to date. Frequenting Hot Creations has definitely not hurt our man and his high calibre club fuel, but the track sets a darker and more dominating precedent for wAFF and everything we already loved about the British prospect. ‘Syncronistic’ is as disorderly as its namesake would suggest, but no less a landmark for this shining UK talent and his warped reign of techno advocacy.
