HARD is famous for consistently curating stellar lineups for their festivals, but in the past several years they’ve also proven their forte for viral marketing. For the last three years, filmmaker Agata Alexander has been the mastermind behind the official trailers for HARD’s two cornerstone festivals — HARD Summer, and HARD Day of the Dead. Alexander’s videos comically feature artists in the corresponding festival’s lineup in absurd or precarious situations. Her last two Day of the Dead trailers, for example, have seen Valentino Khan‘s anthropomorphized mustache terrorizing Los Angeles, and The Gaslamp Killer systematically murdering every artist on the 2013 lineup.

Alexander’s newest video, “Being John Malkovuum,” features a vacuum possessed by John Malkovich relentlessly chasing Tommy Trash through a house that evidently holds several artist on the Day of the Dead bill. In his pursuit, the vacuum harasses Skrillex, Destructo, Jauz, Marshmello, and AC Slater before ultimately engulfing Tommy Trash and assuming his persona. The video also cameos Kill The Noise, and is set to “FUK UR MGMT” by Kill The Noise and “U Got 2” by AC Slater.
