Zeds Dead & LOUDPVCK’s ‘Flies’ used in anti-smoking commercial

This past Sunday, the MTV VMAs entertained viewers with unforgettable live performances and a surprise presidential candidacy announcement. During the commemorative show, Truth, the anti-smoking campaign, aired a pop culture-relevant commercial that plays up the “It’s a Trap!” phenomenon.
As Zeds Dead & LOUDPVCK’s “Flies” plays in the background, several teens attempt to defend their smoking habits, prompting familiar memes to pop up and decry “It’s a Trap!” The commercial takes cringe to a whole new level, but we’ll give them props for using a track from some of electronic music’s heaviest hitters.
