Baauer‘s official return, in the form of his debut full-length album, is around the corner. The bedroom producer-turned overnight internet sensation has taken his time, honing his craft with the release of last year’s ß highlighting his evident reinvention while alluding to something much bigger than an EP to come. Following a guest mix on Triple J recently, the New York-bred producer linked with Zane Lowe on Beats1 for the premiere of his new single “GoGo!”

“GoGo!” is a stomping cut that pushes unapologetic percussion and clangy lead synths, relying on minimal sample work as Baauer continues to test the common limitations of trap. His affinity for bringing heavy-handed hip-hop to the club setting shines on “GoGo!” and as his debut record inches closer to its release via LuckyMe Records, anticipation for more new music from the genre’s favorite son is at an all-time high.
