Cazzette – Genius (Prinston Remix)
We haven’t worked out exactly who Prinston is yet, but his alliance with the PRMD Music family has been a fun one to unravel. The anonymous Swedish producer turned heads with his Astrid S accompanied remix of ‘Waiting For Love’ and an unofficial remix of Maroon 5’s ‘Sugar‘ earlier in year, but rejoins Cazzette this month to pick up where his acoustic remix of the duo’s landmark single ‘Sleepless’ left off. For his remix of ‘Genius,’ one of the finer vocal moments from Cazzette’s Desserts EP, the go-to remixer hits the switch on a decked out instrumental canvas built on raw funk fundamentals. We’ve seen a lot of different sides to Prinston’s musical agenda in 2015, but there’s yet to be any exception made to his mint for quality remixes.
