DA Exclusive: Elijah Wood & Zach Cowie embark on limited five-stop Wooden Wisdom tour
Wooden Wisdom are uniting once more, announcing a limited five-stop tour to kick off 2016. Comprised of Elijah Wood and Zach Cowie, Wooden Wisdom will hit the road just as they did one year prior — touching down in major markets, starting in Miami and this time wrapping up in Chicago after passing through Brooklyn, Denver and San Francisco.
The duo of Wood, who’s better known for blockbuster roles such as Lord of the Rings’ Frodo Baggins, and Cowie, a music supervisor who’d formerly been known to DJ as Turquoise Wisdom, formed after the two met at a party and shared an affinity for music, and soon vinyl.
In a time where onlookers are quick to shame the celebrity DJ, Elijah Wood’s name has stayed clean — even as a Hollywood star, garnering respect in the arts as organically paired with Cowie for Wooden Wisdom.
