DA Premiere: EDX – Revered
Italy’s EDX has been a staple of the electronic music industry for over a decade and, despite his tenure, every new production he stamps his name on continue to impress. His knack for adapting his sound to modern trends while maintaining his level of quality and artistry has been unmatched by many of his peers taking similar routes towards relevance. The latest original creation from Maurizio Colella, “Revered,” follows up his Ibiza dominating remix of Sam Feldt’s “Show Me Love” and the deep house chart topper “Belong” and finds the Italian talent focusing his attention to deep and dark afterhours. Originally premiered by Pete Tong, “Revered,” blurs the lines between tech and deep house, laying forth a percussion driven groove that bubbles over with EDX’s patented melodies and feel-good attention to detail.
