NGHTMRE goes in for debut Diplo & Friends Mix
If there’s one name you need to know on the upswing in bass music, it’s NGHTMRE.
The LA-producer has been on a tear over the past year pumping out remix after remix of Major Lazer, Keys N Krates, The Griswolds, and more to demonstrate his intrinsic ability to produce a wide range of genre styles. Despite his vast catalog of remixes and originals, there is no denying that his Mad Decent debut with “Street” could be his most profound output to date. Debuted by Skrillex back in March on the Ultra Main Stage, “Street” became a staple in the festival circuit this summer and has put NGHTMRE on the fast track of transitioning from bass newcomer into trap kingpin.
Since the LA producer put out the single on Mad Decent, it was only appropriate NGHTMRE make his Diplo & Friends debut to receive an additional stamp of approval from the label’s head honcho. An hour dedicated to all things bass-heavy, NGHTMRE leaves no room for rest as he sporadically bounces from Slander to Major Lazer to RL Grime. Yet most enticing were IDs from Eptic and 4B & Azaar that were thrown into the mix, on top of his latest collaboration with LOUDPVCK.
