Rudimental – Lay It All On Me feat. Ed Sheeran (Eats Everything Remix)

Rudimental’s sophomore album We The Generation was the latest demonstration of the UK band’s depth and variety. A medley of electronic genres were present in the 18-track output, allowing broad canvas for the excellent remixes that followed.

The newest piece off the LP that the band chose to be remixed is their collaboration with Ed Sheeran, “Lay It All On Me.” Enlisting Eats Everything to try his hand, the British talent starts off slow – inserting sparse bouts of soft rhythm here and there during the first three minutes. Of course, a defining beat is not always needed, and Eats Everything takes care to make sure the buildup is as rewarding as the explosion into a video game-esque, deep house landscape. The original “Lay It All On Me” is currently out with the rest of We The Generation, while a release date remains to be seen for the re-work.
