Disclosure achieved a rare feat in the dance world by securing their second straight UK #1 with their sophomore album Caracal. One of the bigger songs from the LP was “Magnets:” a collaboration with Lorde. The sultry, slowed-down single has now received a more upbeat remix from the Lawrence brothers themselves. The new VIP arguably delivers what the single was missing from the first go-around: a catchy hook and more danceable rhythm. Returning to their house and garage origins, the “Magnets (VIP)” offers a colorful chord progression and plenty of interesting drum fills and percussion to complete the official remake.
