EDC New York announces 2016 dates and larger festival layout

Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival continues to establish its international prestige with festivals in major cities like Las Vegas, Orlando, and São Paulo. The New York installment returns in 2016 for its 5th annual event and biggest year to date.

On May 14 and 15, EDC NY makes a return to Queens with expanded festival grounds at Citi Field. A preview map shows new stage layouts, larger carnival rides, and interactive art, as well as the East Coast debut of Carnival Square, the informational hub and meeting spot in the center of the action.

EDC NY 2016 will consist of four stages: kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, cosmicMEADOW, and neonGARDEN, which are massive showcases of unique art and technology productions

Tickets start at $199 without fees and will be available for purchase starting Cyber Monday, November 30, at 12pm ET.
