Here’s the new GTA music that the internet is freaking out about

GTA has the internet breaking down. As they cross the United States on their Goons Take America Tour, the duo have been teasing what seems to be a major upcoming moment for this Friday. Launching an unknown countdown via death2genres.com over the weekend, the Twittersphere has been up in arms over what’s en route.

Many have speculated that the highly anticipated trap anthem “Funtcantasy” would soon be unleashed — and GTA soon after flashed a peek at a four-track listing that’s more likely than not to be a new release.

The record formerly known as “Funtcantasy” has now surfaced as the lead track off GTA’s unrolling project. From what’s expected to be DTG, Vol. 2 — the follow up off GTA’s signature EP — comes “Goons,” the retitled fan favorite that’s been taking over the festival circuit with support from the likes of RL Grime, Baauer, Flosstradamus and more.
