It was about six months ago when Oliver Heldens brought his then-anonymous alias HI-LO into the spotlight with “Crank It Up” on Mad Decent. Along with developing his sound as HI-LO, Heldens simultaneously launched his own record label, Heldeep Records. Now returning to his side-moniker for a second release under Heldeep, the Dutch superstar unveils “Ooh La La.”

Mimicking a very similar, rambunctious bassline to “Wappy Flirt,” HI-LO’s sinister fusion of tech house hypnotism and stomping bass rhythms in “Ooh La La” presents the double-edged versatility of HI-LO’s sound that could fit perfectly in both the festival environment and the early morning club dancefloor.
