Kaskade and Armin van Buuren slated to lead 2015 IMS Singapore

International Music Summit (IMS) has steadily risen to become a key institution in electronic music since its humble beginnings in Ibiza eight years ago. Earlier this the year, IMS made its way to China, holding a successful inaugural conference in Shanghai geared toward harnessing the country’s burgeoning stake in the industry. On December 11, the second edition of IMS Asia-Pacific will take place in Singapore.

American EDM legend Kaskade and grammy-nominated “Trance King” Armin van Buuren have been announced as the first two esteemed speakers for this year’s IMS Asia-Pacific, whose focus this year is “Bridging the Gap Between East and West.” Their global DJing experience allows them to provide valuable insight on the panel, as topics span from preserving one’s local dance music scene to bringing Eastern and Western cultures together in the name of dance. Sharam of Deep Dish has also been enlisted to discuss the Asia-Pacific market with head of Beatport Asia, Richie McNeill, and other important behind-the-scenes figures.

Badges for the conference can be purchased here.
