Knife Party announce the official release date for ‘Trigger Warning’ EP
It’s been exactly one year since Knife Party stepped out of the background to unveil their multi-faceted album, Abandon Ship. The full-length effort encompasses a diverse spread of genres from big room to deep house to growling dubstep, and the ex-Pendulum duo successfully evaded the plague of genre labels. Most recently, Knife Party took over Diplo & Friends to show off the products of their studio sessions over the past year that will construct their forthcoming EP Trigger Warning.
Previews of the EP’s constituents have circulated throughout the Internet with no date attached to their release, but Knife Party confirmed on Twitter this weekend that Trigger Warning will be see the light of day on November 20th. Comprised of four tracks, the Australian producers will have two solo originals – “PLUR Police” and “Parliament Funk,” a progressive house collaboration with Tom Staar titled “Kraken,” and a thrashing dubstep remix of “PLUR Police” by Jauz. Check back next Friday for the full coverage on Trigger Warning.
