Solomon Grey – Miradors (Lane 8 Remix)

Lane 8 and Solomon Grey have always made for a good pairing; Joe Wilson’s vocals add a soulful element to Lane 8’s smooth, melodic productions, and widespread adoration ensues whenever the names appear together on a record. Rather than being featured on a track as we usually see, Solomon Grey’s original production “Miradors” is the centerpiece of Lane 8’s latest remix endeavor.

The final product blends Wilson’s voice and humming harmonic chords into a classically Lane 8 deep house number fitting of the Anjunadeep ethos. Where the original “Miradors” took on an ambient, haunting landscape, the re-work boosts euphoria with hollow, bright synths and light brushes of drums. Released November 6th, Lane 8’s rendition is the second remix we’ve seen from the Anjunadeep camp, with Jody Wisternoff and James Grant having revealed their version on the label’s 7th compilation volume.
